Race 4 – 1 mile– 1st/2nd Aug 2020

40 Wreakies took part in Race 4 of the Leicestershire Road Running Lockdown League 2020.

Once again Ben was first man back in 4:55 (15th overall), Rhiannon the first woman back in 5:54 (146th overall). Some great performances, notably Diamond ‘Virtual Standard’ for Ben, Brian, and Bruno!), John H was 2nd in his category.
Special mentions to Sam & Lizzie Jones – new members and their first ‘race’ as a Wreakie. Well done also to the 16 100% ers (Bruno N, Andy C, Shane G, Gavin S, John H, Mukesh M, Corrina P, Linda S, Alison C, Simon P, Lyndesy P, Katherine L, Rebecca W, Julie G, Heather W) – keep it up!
Well done to all the Wreakies who ran this  , over 50 of us have had a go at at least 1 of these virtual races. Hopefully we’ll continue to see lots of Wreake Runners run in Race 5: 5 miles, over the weekend of 15/16 August (upcoming races).
This Lockdown League works with all 27 clubs in the county grouped in four geographical divisions – we are in the East league. The points are composed of mixed teams of the top 6 men and 6 women. More info here: http://lran.org.uk/
