As a change from our usual club nights, we ventured onto the running track at Ratcliffe College for a structured session. A fun, tough night, involved running interval ‘pyramids’ (starting with short intervals, building up, then building back down). A large number of Wreakies took on the challenge of the Gaddesby Gallop on sat 17th Dec. It’s a cracking low-key cross country race of 5.4 miles, with extra challenges thrown in along the way (a stinky pond, drainage tunnel, and a dip in the brook!). A light hearted and festive feel to the race
The Festive spirit was in full flow last night as Wreake put on their Santa hats and spread some Christmas cheer running to the Town Hall Square in Leicester to see the lights. Followed by a great festive meal, brilliantly organised by our Captain Posh (Anne Timlock)…. A fantastic night! Merry Christmas!
