Each year we aim to support one main local charity as a club. In 2022 we raised £1,400 for LOROS and in 2023 we raised almost £1900 split between The Brain Tumor Charity and Wishes for Kids. For 2024, we have nominated Breast Cancer Now. We are looking forward to supporting members with their challenges during the year and raising funds in any way we can to support this amazing charity which is very close to several members in the club. There are loads of ways you can get involved with the work they do. Whatever you do, you’ll be helping to continue funding the world-class research taking place in their labs, and providing life-changing care and support for those who so desperately need it. We will be looking to raise funds at a variety of events over the year from raffles and cake sales to supporting individuals in races from 10k to marathons.
