Race 6 – 10km– 28/29 Aug 2020
The final race of the Leicestershire Road Running Lockdown League 2020 concluded with a 10km virtual race. 20 Wreake Runners competed against over 500 runners from across Leicestershire. As a team we finished as runners up in the C Final – well done to the 50 Wreake Runners who took part over the summer!
Some top 10 category finishing positions in race 6 for: John Hall (1st, Male 65-69), Bruno N (5th, Male 55-59), Andy C (7th, Male 55-59), Karen L (7th Female 50-54), Shane G (9th Male 50-54). Bruno was first man back for Wreake in 39:19 (70th overall), Karen L the first woman back in 52:16 (292nd overall).
Some super county standards achieved: platinum for Bruno; diamond for Andy C; gold John H; silver for Scott, Gavin, Ian, Karen L; bronze for Gareth & Mukesh; copper for Alison, Linda S, and Lyndsey P; pewter for Rebecca W, Simon P, Katherine L, Lorraine J, Rachel W; tungsten for Jenny H.
