Running with Wreake is not just about pounding the streets, sometimes we like to put on our Santa hats, slip on our trail shoes and run through mud,dew ponds and local brooks!… just for fun
This year we had a fantastic turnout for everyone’s favourite ‘Gaddesby Gallop’, A 5 1/4 mile XC race through Ashby Folville, Barsby and Gaddesby.
Everyone was in the festive spirit running with their Santa hats on what was a tough muddy course, the dew pond didn’t let us down with it’s foul smelling boggy stench and the Gaddesby brook was as cold as usual, despite that we all had a brilliant run finished off with a well deserved drink in the pub!
A great way to get us all ready for Chritmas!… Have a fun Christmas everyone.
